Organisational development

Lack of organisational capacity and poor human resources management were contributing to a waste of resources and underperformance in basic education provision. ESSPIN supported organisational capacity development of the MoEs, SUBEBs and LGEAs of the six programme states to reposition them for sustainable quality service delivery. The focus was on achieving synergy and efficiency of operations through realigning and harmonising their mandates, visions, functions, structures, workforce planning, processes and performance management. The key deliverables were clear and result-focused organisational vision, strategic and establishment plans and service charters for driving collective responsibility, transparency and accountability.
